Cancellation & Refund Policy

Clear, fair terms so you know exactly where you stand if your plans need to change.

I completely understand that sometimes plans change. However, when you book a Chloe Keeps Travelling trip, I make bookings and payments with hotels, local guides, restaurants, boat companies and other suppliers in advance. As your departure gets closer, these costs can become non-refundable.

For this reason, the following cancellation policy applies to all Chloe Keeps Travelling trips unless different terms are specifically stated on the booking page for your trip.

Changes to the Itinerary

Travel involves working with local businesses, weather conditions and circumstances that can sometimes be outside our control.

Occasionally, it may be necessary to make changes to the itinerary, accommodation, activities or other arrangements. Where this happens, we will always do our best to provide a suitable alternative of a similar standard and value.

If a significant change is required, you will be informed of your options in accordance with applicable law.

If unavoidable and extraordinary circumstances at the destination significantly affect the performance of your trip or your ability to travel there, you may have legal rights to cancel your booking without paying a cancellation fee and receive a refund, depending on the circumstances and applicable legislation.

Travel Insurance

Travel insurance is strongly recommended and should be arranged at the time of booking.

Your policy should provide appropriate cancellation and curtailment cover, including cover for illness, injury, family emergencies and other circumstances that may prevent you from travelling.

Chloe Keeps Travelling cannot accept responsibility for costs that are reasonably recoverable through your travel insurance.

  • The applicable cancellation period

  • Your non-refundable deposit

  • The £100 cancellation fee

  • The Stripe payment-processing fee

  • Any other non-refundable costs or fees already incurred by Chloe Keeps Travelling

Nothing in this policy affects your statutory rights under applicable consumer protection or package travel legislation.
